Le Cirque des Souvenirs

For the occasion of Yuletide, we present this multimedia fanwork of Erin Morgenstern's The Night Circus:

Perhaps one of the greatest gifts of Le Cirque des Rêves is that it encompasses what it is to be both the dreamer and the dream itself. Our dreams are often fantasy and impossibility, wild flights of imagination—but they are also journeys into memory. Our minds seize upon details we might not remember upon waking, and create a pattern out of many individual threads.

It is a surreal experience, and as with dreams, we cannot wholly remember the truth of it when we leave that enchantment and wake. For that reason, one could also call it Le Cirque des Souvenirs—The Circus of Memories.
